A race?

A horse drawn carriage, locally know as a "calesa" was once a usual sight here in Manila, but of course due to innovations in technology, that has changed during the past half century. But is this really a race between a calesa and a Hyundai van...hehehe actually no...I just caught this van overtaking the calesa who is leisurely taking its time going down the Intramuros street.

    Hi Anne - I'm claiming the Calesa would win the race - Hyundai's are not known for their speed!

    I am surprised there are still so many Calesa in some neighbourhoods.

    Hi Sidney, no i don't see much of calesas anymore, just around Intramuros, Quiapo and maybe Divisoria...
