Old Intramuros houses

Old Intramuros Houses

Took this photo while we were at Intramuros last weekend. This is one of the old houses of Intramuros still in perfect condition. I got lucky too that a calesa passed by as my husband took the photo!

hi anne

I don't know the Philippines at all. Is Intramuros a small town, village? Intramuros sounds like Spanish "entre muros", "between the walls"

Hi Bob...no Intramuros is a small place in the heart of Manila...yes it was built by the Spaniards when they came here and built walls around it to protect it against invaders. :)
