Construction site

If there is one thing I do not want to see it is cut trees! I hate seeing big beautiful trees cut down...it's just a shame seeing all those beautiful branches lie helplessly on the floor. But we can't do anything about it...development must go on. So the once green park I posted here, is now this...atleast part of it.

Why does what some call progress have to involve ripping up our green spaces?! It's a real shame what they're doing here...but a very striking photograph.

I suppose the only consolation could be that the shuttering for the concrete may be constructed from local timber. But then again knowing how the world works these days!
