Palm Sunday in the Philippines

Palm Sunday mark the start of the lenten season in the Philippines. It is celebrated by a reenactment of the entry of Jesus in Jerusalem. Using these improvised palm leaves, the whole Christian community join together to mark the beginning of the commemoration of Christ' passion and death.
